Enzo Fittipaldi graduates to Formula 2 seat with Charouz for rest of 2021 season

Enzo Fittipaldi, the grandson of two-time Formula 1 world champion Emerson, will step up to the Formula 2 championship for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old Brazilian, who is the younger brother of Haas F1 reserve Pietro, has secured his graduation with the Charouz Racing System squad with whom he had been compet🦹ing for in Formula 3.

Fittipaldi will replace David Beckmann as Guilherme Samaia’s new teammate at the Czech team fro𒁃m the next round of the 2021 season at Monza. Beckmann leaves Charouz despite scoring all its 25 points so far this💙 year.

“I am extre𒅌mely happy to be making my debut in the FIA Formula 2 championship,” said Fittipaldi.

“W꧃e had a very solid first part of the F3 season together and I am looking forward to the next chapter. Monza will be my first time in an F2 car and I’m very excited.

“I will have a huge learning curve ahead with a 30min practice and then straight to qualify෴ing but nonetheless I can't wait to get in tꦆhe car at Monza.

“The goal will be to gain 🎉as much experience as possible to get me more prepared for the last F2 rounds.”

Fittipaldi had contested the first four rounds of the F3 season with Charouz and claimed a best result of second plওace in Hungary, before he was absent from the last event at Spa-Francorchamps.
