Oscar Piastri extends F2 points lead with pole at Monza

After a lengthy break, F2 ac𒈔tion is back on our screens as the 22-manཧ field tackles the iconic 'Temple of Speed' in Italy.
Piastri reigned supreme in qualifying, with his 1m32.199s enough to take his second pole posi🍌tion of the season.
The Australian led the way after the first runs but he found enough on his final run to rec🐬laim top spot, but also the four additional championship points.
Jehan Daruvala qualified an excellent second for Carlin, consistently quick in the opening 🤡part of the lap.
Guanyu Zhou was third and he remai🐽ns Piastri's nearest rival for the title this year.
Zhou has been heavily linked with a promotion to F1 alongside Valtteri Bottas at Alfa Romꦍeo for 2022,෴ so he will be needing a strong weekend at Monza.
Liam Lawson was the lead Hitech Grand Prix driver in fourth, while Feli💯pe Drugovich made it two UNI-Virtuosi cars in the top five.
Ralph Boschung was only sixth for Campos, having been second after the firs𒆙t qualifyi🐻ng runs.
Theo Pourchaire, Dan Ticktum, 𓃲Juri Vips and David🤡 Beckmann rounded out the top 10.
It was Beckmann's first outing for Campꦿos, having been replaced by Charouz due to financial 🥃reasons.
Robert 🌃Shwartzman struggled for pace throughout qualifying with the Ferrari junior set to start from 12th after Jake Hughes had his lap deleted, having qualified 11th inꦏitially.
