Felipe Drugovich pulls off strategic masterclass to win F2 feature race in Spain

😼Starting from 10th on the grid, Drugovich decided to go long on his soft tyres which ultimately proved cru💮cial when the pit stops occurred.
The Brazilian stopped forไ hards on Lap 18, six laps laജter than Jack Doohan who dominated the early part of the race.
Drugovich's impressive race pace and tyre management allowed him to rejoin in thirdꦍ, q🐲uickly overtaking Frederik Vesti and then Doohan for the race lead on Lap 27.
With 10 laps remaining, Drugovich buil💙t up a five-second gap to ensure he retains his win if he is penalised after race control announced during the race that he's under investigation for a pit lane offen🏅ce.
His latest victory means he is in a select group to win both the sprint and feature 🅰races in an F2 or GP2 race weekend, cemen🍌ting his lead at the top of the championship.
Doohan ultimately secured second behind Drugovich, his first podium in t🐻he ꦇseries.
Mercedes F1 junior Vesti completed t♍he podi💝um in fourth.
Logan Sargeant hun⛎g onto fourth ahead of Clement Novalak, who was lightning quick at the end of the race on the softs.
Nไovalak, Enzo Fittipaldi and Marcus Armstrong all made the most of the alternate strategy, switching onto softs at the end of the race to cut their way through the field to secure fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.
Theo Pourchaire, Liam Lawson and Roy Nissany rounded out the top 10 in Barcelꦓona.
Drugovich now has a 26-point lead over Pourchaire in the points standings, with Dar🧜uvala a further 19 points back from the ART driver.
Liam Lawson is on 37 point🃏s, 50 off Drugovich with Armstrong completing the top five on 36 poin༒ts.
