Burgeoning British Formula 3 team Litespeed has completed its first signing for the 2009 season after agreඣeing terms with Victor Correa.

Correa comes to the team following a successful season in the British Formula Ford Championship, the 19-year-oldꦦ finishing fourth in the standings with two race wins to his name.

A former karting star in his native Brazil, Litespeed tech♛nical director Steve Kenchington was delighted to welcoming Correa on board.

"We are delighted that Victor will be driving Litespeed's R1 this season,' he said. "Moving o💧nto British F3 is a natural progression for someone with his ability and leꦗvel-headed temperament. Victor has a long career ahead of him and we are looking forward to an extremely exciting championship in 2009."

Litespeed, who made their debut mid-way through la💃st year with the unique SLC-R1 chassis, head into the new s🌸eason confident of a substantial improvement having benefited from the development prowess of former champion Robbie Kerr.

With that in mind, team manager Nino Judge is confident they can establish themselves as immediate contende𓆏rs.
