David Schumacher set for Formula 3 debut at Sochi

David Schumacher will make his ไFormula 3 debut at the 2019 final round in Russia, replacing the injured Alex Peroni at Campos Racin🦋g.

The son of ex-Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher is currently competing in the Formula Regional European Championship and fresh from recording two wins and a third place at Circuit de Cata𓆏lunya last weekend he heads to Sochi for the F3 finale.

Schumacher steps in for the injured Peroni who suffered♌ a fractured vertebrae in a violent airꦚborne crash at Monza in the first F3 race.

Schumacher steps in for the injured Peroni who suffered a fractured vꦡertebrae in a violent airborne crash at Monza in the first F3 race.

It means two Schumachers will be in action at the Sochi Autodrom with his cousin Mick Schumacher, son for seven-time F1 world champion Michael, competing in Formula 2 for Pr🍨ema Powerteam𝔍.

The 17-year-old Schumacher remains realistic ahead of his F3 debut at an un🧸familiar circuit 🅘in Russia.

“I am really𓄧 happy to join a high-profile team such as Campos Racing. It will be my first time driving a car like this, so we should be realistic 🏅and put our focus on learning as much as possible,” Schumacher said.

Schumacher finished runner-up in the 2018 UAE Formula 4 champio🤪nship before moving into the ADAC Formula 4🌼 championship last year. The German made the full-time step up to F3-specificaiton racing this year.
