After enjoying his best qualifying of the season with 11th, Colombo lined up on the front row alongside 𒀰Carlin’s Jonny Edgar. 

After duelling with Edgar on the opening lap, Colombo got through🅰 on the outside of Turn 1 - coincidentally, Edgar hit trouble and came to a halt, ending his race prematurely. 

With𓄧 overtaking so difficult around the tight and twisty Hungaroring, Colombo’s maiden victory was a likely achieveme🐻nt. 

Hitech’s Ayumu Iwasa ran behind Colombo having star🃏ted from third but couldn’t get close to make an overtake.

Frederik Vesti’s late retirement caused🐎 a Safety Car but the Italian aced the restart to ensure he secured his first win but also first points of the season.

Iwasa maintained second across the line, scoring his thirꦐd podium finish of the season, while Olli Caldwell joined them on the podium.

Logan Sargeant finished fourth as the initial🤪 grid order, besides Edgar, remained intact at the front. 

Trident’s Clement Novalak finished fifth ahead of p💝oints leader Dennis Hauger, who pulled off a couple of excellent overtakes around the outside of Turn 1. 

Aleksandr ⛦Smolyar was seventh in the ART Grand Prix, while David Schumacher got ahead of T🍒rident teammate Jack Doohan with a couple of laps to go.

🦩Matteo Nannini rounded out the top ten for HWA Racelab.

Roman Stanek and Enzo Fittipaldi completed the top 12 and will share the fron✃t row of the grid for this afternoon’s se🍬cond sprint race.

Arthur Leclerc narrowly missed out on reverse grid pole having🍰 finished less than a tenth of a second behind Fittipaldi across the line.

Finally, Jak Crawford could be subject to a penalty after he collid☂ed with Ido Cohen into Tur🐲n 1 with a lap to go.
