Felix Rosenqvist not thinking of Formula E title battle despite points lead

Felix Rosenqvist is not yet thinking about challenging for his maiden Formula E title despite moving into the leadꦗ of the drivers’ championship with victory on Saturday in Marrakesh.

Rosenqvist arrived in Marrakesh second in the standings after inh꧂eriting the win in Hong Kong’s second race following Daniel Abc’s exclusion, trailing DS Virgin Racing’s Sam Bird.

With two wins from three races in the current season and having been an ever-present force at the front of the Formula E field f🧸or over a year now, Rosenqvist is 🍨already being tipped as a title contender for Season 4.

However, the Swede is staying grounded, explaining afte❀r the race that he is not yet paying attention to the po𒉰ints tallies despite already being one-quarter of the way through the season.

“It just changes so quickly in this championship. You ne🀅ed to be on it all the time, work hard, be ready for an uphill during the day and turn it around,” Rosenqvist told ltxcn.top. 

“I think it’s not always you can do 🧸that. I’m just trying to do my best. The team tries to do their best, and then we see where we end up in🔯 the points.

“Honestly, I’ꦛm not really thinking about th🌠e points, but to have 54 or whatever I have is not bad after three races.”

Rosenqvist sits four points clear of Bird at the top of the standings, with Techeetah's Jean-Eric Vergne a further seven points behindꦉ in third place.

The ♔next Formula E round t﷽akes place in Santiago, Chile on February 3.
