Formula E reports rapid growth in social media engagement 

Formula E has published figures๊ claiming it has enjoyed a significant increase in engagement with its social media channels, particularly am🦹ong younger motorsport fans. 

With Formula E heading into the second half of the 2017/2018 campaign at this weekend’s inaugural r𝕴ace in Rome, the all-electric series has released figures that it says shows “sustained increase engagement, followers and video views when compared year-on-year”.

Form꧋ula E has published figures claiming it has enjoyed a significant increase in engagement with its social media channels, particularly among younger motorsport fans. 

With Formula E heading into the second half of the 2017/2018 campaign at this weekend’s inaugural race in Rome, the all-electric series has released figures that it says shows “sustained increase engagement, followers and video views when🧸 compared year-on-year”. 

In addition to rising levels of interaction across all age demographics, Form💖ula E has reported a 347꧙ percent increase in the number of 13-17-year-olds engaging with the digital content published on its social media channels, as well as a rise of 54 percent among 18-24-year-olds. 

“The ABB FIA Formula E Championship continues to grow from strength to strength, at🐟tracting a new and younger generation of eager and engaged fans,” Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag said. 

“Not only is Formula E appealing to Generation Z, this highly desired audience is le🌃ading to renowned road car manufacturers, automotive brands and prestigious part♓ners putting their name to the series and coming together in the shared values of reinventing racing. ]

“With a clear digital strategy and an always on content approach, these impressive figures are a result of speaking the same language as our fans and constantly experime🀅nting with new and innovative tools across each platform.”

According to Formula E, the aforementioned age groups accounꦇt for 49 percent of engagement with the content it distributes on its official Facebook account. 

On a wider scale, the all-electric championship claims overall engagement with 🐬Formula E content has quadrupled in growth and is up by 330 ꦍpercent compared with the entire figures for season three. 

Figures for Formula E’s Facebook ⛎account reveal a 128 percent rise in followers among 13-17-year-olds, while the 18-24 age bracket has cemented itself as the second largest demogr💧aphic of followers behind only 25-34-year-olds. 

The series reports it 🌞ha𝐆s now surpassed the one million mark for its combined followers across its social media channels, with Instagram boasting a 90 percent rise compared to last year.
