Ex-F1 driver Felipe Massa in talks with Formula E teams over 2018-19 drive

Ex-Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa has revealed he is talking to several FIA Formula E teams about a possible move into the all-electric series for season fiveജ. 

Massa, who took 11 wins across his 15-year F1 career, retired from the sport for the second time at the end of the 2017 season. The 36-year-old has been evaluating which series to pu🀅rsue for the next stage of his career and recently contested the opening round of the 2018 Brazilian Stock Car Championship at Interlagos.

Ex-Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa has revealed he is talking to several FIA Formula E teams 🍒about a possible move into the🐼 all-electric series for season five. 

Massa, who took 11⛄ wins across his 15-year F1 career, retired from the sport for the second time at the end of the 2017 season. The 36-year-old has been evaluating which series to pursue for the next stage of his career and recently contest✅ed the opening round of the 2018 Brazilian Stock Car Championship at Interlagos. 

The Brazilian has previously expressed his interest in a possible switch into Formula 🉐E and has been linked with Jaguar after conducting a one-day test with the๊ British manufacturer in early 2017. 

Speakiไng as a guest at Formula E’s inaugural Rome E-Prix last weekend, Massa said: “I think it can be a nice pleasure to be here racing, I cannot stay at home for very long so I need to find something to do. 

“Formula E is a championship that is showing some good possibilities so I still have nothing really real. But I’m talking to some teams so 💙let’s see if it’s possible to race here in the future.”

Massa has made it clear about wanting to contest a full-time campaign he feels he could be competitive in from th꧙e off, so is unlikely to join Fo♍rmula E mid-season.
