IndyCar driver Pippa Mann will drive for GEOX Dragon during the in-seasonꦺ Formula E test in Saudi Arabia.

The test, which takes place a day after the 2018/2019 season-opening Ad Diriyah E-Prix, features a diverse line-up aimed𓂃 at giving female talent an opportunity to impress in the all-electric series.

Mann will get behind the wheel of the number #6 GEOX Dragon car for her first experience of Formula E machinery, joining the American squad’s line-up that also includes full-time drivers Jo✨se Maria Lopez an🧔d Max Gunther.

“I have actually never ꩲdriven an electric car, let 🐷alone an electric race car,” Pippa said.

“So to have this opportunity to return to my roots and drive an open wheel car again on a tight stre💝et course is something that I am looking forward to immensely.

“I am very excited to the challenge of driving a Formula E car, and I applaud Formula E for their forward thinking in creating opportunities ✅for ꦏfemale racers.

“It is empowering to have the chance to engage with a championship series who is giving tꦑhe opportunity toꦐ elevate female talent the right way.”

Mann failedꦦ to qualify for this year’s Indy 500, having finished 17th in ওthe 2017 event with Dale Coyne Racing.

Dragon team principal and ow𓃲ner Jay Penske added: “We are looking forward to working with Pippa🐻 at the test in Riyadh.

“She has a lot of experience across a wide range of motorsports disciplines, and we expect her to provide valuable feed♓back on the Penske EV-3 package.”
