BMW Formula E team retains Alexander Sims for season six

The BMW Andretti FIA Formula E squad has retained Alexander Sims to complete its driver lin🌳e-up for the upcoming 2019/20 season. 

Sims will contest his second FE campaign with a new teammate for season six, after the German outfit drafted in Maximilian Gunther to replace Antonio Felix da Costa, who left the team🐻 to join reigning champions DS Techeetah. 

The 31-year-old Briton ended his maiden FE season 13th in the drivers' championship, havin♉g racked u꧟p a total of 57 points as BMW took fifth place in the teams' standings.

The BMW Andretti FIA Formula E squad has retained Alexander Sims to complete its driver line-up for the upcoming 2019✤/20 season. 

Sims will contest his second FE campaign with a new teammate for season six, afte🤪r the German outfit drafted in Maximilian Gunther to replace Antonio Felix da Costa, who left the team to join reigning championsꦇ DS Techeetah. 

The 31-year-old Briton ended his mai🦩den FE season 13th in the drivers' championship, having racked up a total of 57 points as BMW took fifth place in the teams' standings. 

Sims rounded out seas𓄧on five on a high with his most competitive showing of▨ the campaign, having secured a maiden pole position and first podium finish in the series at the New York double-header finale in July. 

“Formula E is such an exciting and forward-thinking ch♋ampionship on so many levels, and I’m delighted to be competing again this season,” said Sims.

“Having the opportunity to race in a series that pushes boundaries, promotes innovation and sustainable mobility is a real honour, and I’m thrilled that BMW i Andretti Motorsport has again entrusted me with this position.”
