Lynn named Wehrlein’s replacement at Mahindra for rest of FE season

Alex Lynn will race for Mahindra for the remainder of the 2019/20 ABB Form🧸ula E season, replacing Pascal We🐈hrlein in the team’s line-up.

Wehrlein announced his departure from Mahindra with immediate effect via a post on social media earlier this month ahead of an expected switch to P♏orsche.

The Mahindra squad has since named Lynn as his replacement for the rest of the disrupted campaign, which will conclude with an unprecedented run of six races in nine days in Berlin in August after the COVID-19 pandemi🙈c forced a suspension to the season in March.

Alex Lynn will race for Mahindra for the remainder of the 2019/20 ABB Formula E season, replacing Pascal Wehrlein in the team’s line-u𝔍p.

Wehrlౠein announced his departure from Mahindra wi🉐th immediate effect via a post on social media earlier this month ahead of an expected switch to Porsche.

The Mahindra squad has since named Lynn as his replacement for the rest of the disrupted campaign, which wil♛l conclude with an unprecedented run of six races in nine days in Berlin in August after the COVID-19 pandemic forced a suspension to the season in March.

Lynn, 26, previously contested seven races for Jaguar during the second half of the 2018/19 season, claiming a best result of seventh 🏅place at the Bern E-Prix in Switzerland.

The Briton also raced with Envision Virgi𝔍n Racing in 2017/18 and has acted as Jaguar’s development driver since losing his full-time drive. He will join Jerome d'Ambrosio in Mahindra's line-up.

"I just 🍃can’t wait to get started. I’ve raced t♕wice in Berlin before and always felt that I went well there, including appearing in Super Pole last season.

"The format of Berlin is going to be exciting and chall🍸enging at the same time and I’m looking forward to hitting ✱the ground running.”
