We'll be back at the 📖track on Monday and Tuesday for some interviews and rid🔯er debriefs ahead of the Official test, starting on Wednesday.

10:04

There will now be the usual end of day practice starts on the home strai🍃ght.

10:04

The ☂Sepang Shakedown ends with a Yamaha one-two by Fabio Quartararo and Jack Miller.

Aleix Espargaro is tওhird for Honda, Ai Ogura (Trackhouse Aprilia) is the top rookie in fourth ahead of Pol Espargaro (KTM) and Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati).

10:00

Less than a min꧒ute to go and Aleix ♌Espargaro puts Honda into 3rd on the timesheets.

Thꦏe new HRC test rider looks to be on the very latest RC213V.

09:58

Just a few minutes to go and some ꧟riders are stil🅺l heading out, with the red and white lights flashing.

Aleix Espargaro, Alex Rins, Fermi🧸n Aldeguer, Ai Ogura currently on track.

09:51

And there it is!

Fabio Quartararo sets the first 1m 57s of the year to fastest with just under ten minutes 🐈remaining.

09:50

Some riders are staying out despite the red and white f𝐆lags.

09:48

.... Or maybe not!

"Slight drizzle o𒅌n track" has just fl𝔉ashed up on screen.

09:47

Lots 💝of riders out for what could be the fastest (coolest) conditions of the day, will we see a 1m 57?

09:46

Into the last 15mins of testing and it's still Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo oꦐn top, but rookie Ai Ogura is up to 3rd and on another fast lap.

09:06

One hour of the Sepang Shakedown to go and Yamaha are the most active manufacturer on track wi𒊎th Jack Miller, Fabio Quartararo and Augusto Fernandez all on track.

08:17

Just under🅷 two hours remaining and it's still Jack Miller fastest from Pramac Yamaha from Monster Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo then Pol Espargaro (KTM), Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Ducati) and Aleix Espargaro (Honda).

Five riders currently on track and, as lonꦓg as rain stays away, the circuit should get faster as the temperature drops slightly in the late afternoon.

07:56

Ogura is still going!

As this is not an official test there is no lap by lap breakdown, just best lap time, but the reig🐷ning Moto2 champion might looks to be aiming for at least a Sprint race distance...

07:46

3:45pm and it looks like rookie Ai Ogura has been doing a long run/race simulatio🍌n.

Impressive fro🐎m the Trackhouse Apri✱lia rider who's clearly in good physical shape.

06:43

2:40pm an♊d, while a few riders have been out, the track is silent again in t🔯he middle of the afternoon heat.

05:50

And the track falls silent once again.

05:47

Aleix Espargaro just pitted with what lo♏oks like the new (all-black) Honda. Appears to have more of a pronounced ground-effect style step🧸 on the fairing sides.

05:35

To confirm, it looks like Aug🔯usto Fernandez is going to ride the M1 all day today. No sign of Dovi, who did the Yamaha test team running on day 1 and all but the closing stages of day 2.

05:33

Jack Miller is on t♏he all-black Pramac at💧 present, so presumably trying the 2025 parts.

05:29

1:30pm and🍒 with temperatures rising the fastest laps a🧔re not being threatened, but it's also the best time to try longer race-pace style runs.

It's probably not a coincidence that the riders currently on track are all Yamahas, Jack Miller (still💫 fastest of all), Alex Rins and test rider Augusto Fernandez.

04:59

Fabio Quartararo pits with a black front fairing, which looks like the latestﷺ aero evolution.

Yamaha has🍸 a new aerodynamic package, chassis, electronics and 'steps' on the engine 🍃to try.

04:43

12:40pm and the track is now silent with some teams and riders starting their u🍃nofficial lunc꧟h break.

04:31
