Jonatha෴n R✱ea will not be present after suffering multiple fractures to his left foot on Monday, which will also rule him out of the upcoming Australian race weekend.

Nicolo Bulega 💦was quickest from fellow Ducati rider Andrea Iannone on day one, with reigning champion Toprak Razgatlioglu recovering to third after a big morning highside.

04:41

Bautista splits the Lowes brothers in 2n📖d, with team-mate Bulega up to 10th.

Mean𒁏while it's a Lowes one-two with Alex now ahead of Sam.

04:30

Lowes is now only half-aಌ-second from his best dry time of the test.

04:30

Sam Lowes ꦦand Toprak Raz𒁏gatlioglu overhaul Redding as the final ten minutes of testing begin.

04:23

Redding impr﷽oves again, to a 1m 30.9s and is༺ now two-seconds clear.

04:21

Redding ꩵslices time off in all four sectors and sets 🐟a 1m 31.1s, which is only 1.2s off his fastest lap of the test.

04:20

Those lap times look to have prompted others to head out, including returning Ducati rider S🐬cott Redding.

Redding  blasts straight to the top with a 1m 32.1s, 3sec clear of Mon🎶tella, and is going even quicker on his next lap.

04:16

The 𝔉track continues to dry and Montella suddenly breaks into the 1m 38s on slicks. Nagashima is hot on his heel💝s.

The crossover point bet🐼ween wets and slicks will be valuable information if - or when - rain arrives during the race weeken𒊎d.
