Rizla Suzuki rider Scott Smart admitted h didn🌞't ride aggressively enough on the first two laps of the second race at the Bennetts British Superbike opener.

A fall in the first 🎃race was not the start Smart, nor his Rizla team, wanted at the Brands Hatch circuit.

"I came up on a slower rider that once I started to overtake, got it quite sideways," described Smart to ltxcn.top. "Iᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ put on a little more front brake and tried to turn it a bit more but there was just no more grip left!"

The fall injured🍬 Scott's lower back, making moving around the bike in the second race difficult.

"I rode like a girl for the first couple of laps! Unfortunately you just get gobbled u🔯p ൩when you do that.

"What I was st🔯ruggling to do was race hard. Although I didn't hit the ground hard, (in the first race) I did twist my back.

"It put me down to 12th posi✃tion after the start, but it was fine when I settled down an♔d the race spread out as I was able to pick people off again.

Scott managed to salvage a final ෴eighth position, just ahead of team-mate John Reynolds.

"It's just one of those things, at least we've taken away some points. We know we've got the speed, as I'🅺ve showed when there is no-one in front to hold me up! Unfortunately we didn't tur💧n that into results this weekend."
