The championship leader slid off his Airwa🐟ves Ducati before the first corner of the 15th lap before being flung into t🧜he air as he came into contact with the gravel trap.
As our pictures show, it was a mighty accident for the 31-year-old, but despite receivi💯ng a few bumps and bruises, he was otherwise unhurt and is expected to fit enough for the nღext round at Cadwell Park in two weeks time.
