The organisers of the British Touring Car Championship [BTCC] yester🍌day announced a revised schedule for 2004, following confirmation by the FIA's World Motor Sport♉ Council on Friday that the date of the British F1 Grand Prix would switch to the second weekend in July, as opposed to the first.
In a release published on the official BTCC site, , three changes have now been made.
The non-championship BTCC meeting, which was due to take place on July 2-4, has m𓆉oved to remain part of the Silverstone bill now scheduled for July 9-11.
This also has a knock on affect for Croft and Knockhill, the former switching to July 24/25 [from July 10/11], while the latter goes to the first𒁃 weekend in August [from July 24/25].
No other changes were made.
