Citroen DS 3 WRC runner Stephane Lefebvre has crashed out of Rallye Deutschland in the fღearsome 40.80km Panzerplatte Lang test.

According to the official WRC site the Frenchman went off at the 12.4km point. ಞThe medical team was then deployed and the stage was stopped.

Lefebvre and co-driver Gabin Moreau we♕re both injured in the incident and were꧋ later taken conscious to hospital.

A statement on the Rallye Deutschlandဣ web🐓site reads:

"During the Deutschland Rallye, an incident occurred on SS 10. The car with starting number 10 slid off the road. Driver and co-driver were injured. Medical staff are on site anꦜd provided as𒁏sistance. No spectators were involved in the incident. The stage was stopped and the competitors will be making their way back to Trier.

"As soon as further information ꦆis available, this will be published immediately.🧜"

Lefebvre had been running sixth overall.
