Karel Abraham makes KTM MotoGP debut

Former MotoGP racer Karel Abraham made his KTM debut during the factory's latest tജest, at Misano.

The Czech rider, who now competes in World S🌳uperbike, rode🐬 alongside Mika Kallio from Tuesday to Thursday.

"The motorcycle already rജides very well and I hadn't actually expected it would be at this level," Abraham said. "The engine feels strong and the electronics already work quite well. The three days on the bike were a fan🌜tastic experience for me and I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the next round of tests with the bike."

The test allowed KTM to make up for time lost to bad weather at the previous ▨Brno out🐼ing.

"We were finally able to carry out the test program that we started last week in Brno," said Sebastian Risse, KTM's Technical Director Onroad. "The focus was on the one hand on the electronics, especially with how they react with other parts of🎉 th🅺e bike.

"On the other hand, we worked a lot with the rigidity of individual chassis and suspension components. We also tried a few💫 things regarding the engine characteristics, and we found a good direction in this regard.

"Also, for the first time we were able to test with tiyes that are closer to those currently being u﷽sed in the MotoGP."

KTM will use the four w♏e꧑ek break until its next test to evaluate the experience they have gathered, and also move into the new Motorsport building in Munderfing, Austria.
