Howie Mainwaring has been ru🤡led out of the opening round of the 2014 MCE British Superbike Championship at Bran♕ds Hatch after dislocating his shoulder in testing at Snetterton.

Following an inꦆterrupted BSB campaign in 2013 that started with MH Kawasaki and finished with Tsingt𝕴ao WK Kawasaki, Mainwaring heads into 2014 having secured a deal with Quattro Plant Kawasaki alongside Dan Linfoot.

However🍌, a tip during pre-season testing at Snetterton has left him nursing a dislocat💯ed surgery that has necessitated surgery, thus ruling him out of the opening event.

As such, he will be replaced by James Hi🔜llier, the 2013 Isle of Man TT Lightweight winner returning to the series and team he competed with in 2012.

"Whilst it's a great opportunity for me to ride it's a shame it's under the circumstances of Howie being injured and I hope he isﷺ back soon. I will certainly be doing my best to try to pick up a few points and I am excited at being back for the BSB opener at Brands Hatch."
