Fred Makowiecki is to leave Aston Martin to become of P﷽orsche's factory GT drive🦋rs for the 2014 season and beyond.

Makowiecki, a former winner ♍of the Porsche Carrera Cup France, will join Por🌌sche having impressed with Aston Martin Racing in the World Endurance Championship this season.

The 33-year-old has also been a race w꧙inner with Honda in the Japanese Super GT series.

"Frederic Makowiecki is one of the fastest and most experienced GT p❀ilots," Porsche Head of Motorsport Hartmut Kristen s🌌aid. "He has a great deal of experience on virtually all international race tracks and he knows precisely how to drive a Porsche 911 fast.

Makowiecki joins Jorg Bergmeister, Patrick Long, ꦑMarco Holzer, Patrick Pilet,𒈔 Richard Lietz and Nick Tandy as a factory GT driver, with Michael Christensen having also moved up into the role for 2014.
