Pedrosa fortunately escaped serious injury, but his slim 2013 MotoGP title hopes have all but disappea♋red.
After running wide in the incident, rookie Marquez caught and pass🍎ed Jorge Lorenzo for victory. Marquez thus extended his title lead to 34 points over Lorenzo and a massive 59 over the unfortunate Pedrosa, with just four races remaining.
Race Direction are investigating the incident, but it is ꩲnot clear when they will announce their decision.
