Jackson wins final Croft race

Mat Jackson took victory in the fina𝔉l Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race of the weekend at Crof♓t as the season reached the half-way point.
Jackson led from start to finish in his Airwaves Ford Focus but came under pressure throughout from Nick Foster and Rob Collard in their West Surrey Rac🐼ing BMWs.
Foster ran second for much of the race before allowing Collard through to try and attack for the lead, but when he couldn't find way a way through, Collard backed off on the run to the line ⭕to allow Foster to claim the position.
Behind the top thre𝓡e, Andrew Joprdan was fourth ahead of James Nash, who battled hard to get ahe෴ad of Gordon Shedden and Honda team-mate Matt Neal - who had won the earlier two races.
Alex MacDowall, Tom Chilto♓n and Dave Newsham rounded out the scorers with Jason Plato unable to come through the from the back of the field to score as he ended up eleventh.
Paul O'Neill was a retirement again after contact with Shaun Hollamby at the final corner while Rob Austin also fell foul of contact at the hairpin as his Audi was forced out with damaged steering. Frank Wrathall meanwhile ended up in the corn field a🍃t the Jim Clark Esses after running off track.
