PIC: Yamaha ensure no repeat of Estoril grid mistake
The Factory Yamaha MotoGP Team has made sure there will be no repeat of the error that🏅 led to Ben Spies crashing out of the Estoril race earlier this month.
In Portugal, a tool used to temporarily block the fuel overflow pipe on the grid was accidentally left✅ in place for the race.
The distraction of trying to r🔜emove the tool, which also hampered his braking, eventually caused Spies to fall.
As this picture froꦅm Le Mans on Sunday shows, it is now i🗹mpossible for Spies and his mechanics not to notice if the forceps are left in place.
