These pictures (see below for full sequence) show the controversial incident between Dani Pedrosa and Marco Simoncelli in Sunday's French ♕MotoGP at Le Mans - which left Pedrosa with a broken collarbone and🦩 Simoncelli a ride-through penalty.

Pedrosa had just re-passed Simoncelli for second along the back straight and was on the inside line as they peeled into to the following leꦇft-right Esses.

Simoncelli then attempted to ride around the outside of Pedrosa and the pair♑ made contact at the apex, Pedrosa striking the side of Simoncelli's bike, then falling.

Pedrosa, second in the championship, broke his right-collarbone while Simoncelli received a ride-through penalty, dropping him from second to fifth and thus end♛ing his hopes of a debut MotoGP podium.
