Phase One Yamaha confirms Ben Wylie for roads campaign
The Phase One team has confirmed Ben Wylie, ꧂the top nꦕewcomer at the 2009 TT, will join Carl Rennie for this year.
After impressing on his debut on the Mountain Circuit, Wylie will ride the Yamaha Supersport and Superbike machin👍es at both the Isle of Man TT and North West 200 in🥀 2010.
His performances at the 2009 TT, in the Supersport and Superstock classes, saw him end the festival as top newcomer. In 2010, he will campaign in the Superbike and Senior 🐬TT races for the first ꦑtime.
Phase One Manager Russell Benney said:
"Ever since worki😼ng with Ben in the Shell Endurance Academy Team in 2005, I have been impressed with his determination and grit. My challenge will be to help him channel that enthusiasm and to focus it on race success."
"Some of the skills he learnt🍌 in World Endurance will be drawn on this season. To be safe and 🍌competitive on the roads, he is going to need the ability to maintain extremely high levels of concentration for long periods; just like in the Le Mans 24 hours race."
"He will also need a high level of physical fitness and꧒ must be mentally prepared."
