Brawn name change ratified by FIA
Bra🐲wn GP has been granted permission for its name change to become official by the FIA.
The team, which has been born from the ashes of the Honda Racing F1𒆙 team, revealed its new name earlier this month after the takeover led by Ross Brawn was confir💛med.
However, any change in name needed to be ratified by the s✱ports governing body, with the FIA confirming that it accepted the name change during the latest meeting oꦅf the World Motor Sport Council in Paris.
The FIA also confirmed tha🍨🧔t the fee required for a new entry to join the grid had been waived.

"The Honda Racing F1 Team requested to chanꦅge its name to the Brawn GP Formula One Team," the FIA's statement read. "The WMSC accepted this request on the basis that the team is, in effect, a new entry in the FIA Formula One World Championship.
"The contract the team had with the FIA was to run as 'Honda', which they are no longer in a position to do. How💃ever🍰, the standard fee required for a new entry has been waived."
