FIA clarifies situation with commercial rights.
After the news this week that the World Motor Sport Council has opened the tender proc🉐ess for the commerc🐼ial rights to the World Rally Championship, the FIA has released an additional statement in a bid to explain what is happening.
The statement read:
"Followi💞ng reports in the motor sport press, the FIA wishes to clarify the situation regarding the Commercial Rights Holder and Promoter of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).
"International Sportsworld Communicators (ISC) is t😼he Commercial Rights Holder for the WRC until 31 December 2010.

The statement read:
"Following reports in the motor sport press, the FIA wishes to clarify the situation regarding the Commercial Rights Holder and Promoter of the FIA World Ra🔯l🍸ly Championship (WRC).
"International Sportsworld Communicators (ISC) is the Comme♏rcial Rights Holder for the WRC until 31 December 2010.
"The FIA tender process for the Promoter of the WRC will open on 16 October and clos🌠e on 15 November 2008.
"The winning tender will be announc🍃ed at the start of Rally Ireland, the first round of th🤡e 2009 season.
"Thꦦe FIA contract with a new WRC Promoter will start from 1 January 2011."
