Henning: It`s good to return to Turkey.

Stobꦛart Ford's Henning Solberg is looking forward to the Rally of Turkey this weekend, an event that is special for him as it was the scene of his first podium finish in WRC back in 2006.

Henning looked all but guaranteed another rostrum result two weeks ago in Greece, until a mysterious electrical problem cost him time o✤n the final day and dropped him to eighth.

The Norwegian now wants to put that disappointment behind him and he is glad to see the Kemer-based event back in the World Rally Championship, after it was lꦫeft off the schedule in 2007.

Stobart Ford's Henning Solberg is looking forward to the Rally of Turkey this weekend, an event that is special for him as it was the scene of his first p✃odium finish in WRC back in 2006.

Henning looked all but guaranteed anothe🍸r rostrum result two weeks ꦏago in Greece, until a mysterious electrical problem cost him time on the final day and dropped him to eighth.

The Norwegian now wants to put that disappointment behind him and he is glad to see the Kemer-based ꧒event back in the World Rally Championship, after it was left off the schedule in 2007.

"It's good to return to Turkey after missing it last year. I enjoy the stages, they are not as rough as in Greece but sometimes similar to GB 🐈stages and this is the type of surface that I enjoy," said Henning.

"We were very disappointed in Greece that the podium slipped away on the last day but if I look back on the last three events ✤then it's 🌌easy to see that we have got more experience and a good rhythm with the car.

"For me this is important as we d🔯on't have testing time and we need to learn during the events. Another podium here would be fantastic."

Matthew Wilson meanwhile was one of those that benefited from Henning's misfortun😼e in Greece and having taken his third ꧂points finish of the season, the Englishman wants to add to his tally.

Wilson however, has only competed in Turkey once - in 2006, when he finished twelfth overall. Despite that though, he is feeling confident and is again aiming for points in the third Stobart 𒉰entry.

"I don't have🎶 much experience of this event but can remembe𓃲r quite a bit from the 2006 stages. Hopefully the weather will be better this year and if the stages are dry and in good condition then I think it will be an exciting event," added the Brit.

"It will be a strange feeling going back to an event that we missed last year as every aspect of my driving has improved vastly since 2006; especially my pace notes and we will be making ne⛄w ones for sure.

"We finished top Stobart crew in Greece, set faster times and collected some good points th𝄹ere so my aim for Turkey is similar; more pace and more points for the Drivers' Championship."
