Having lost his full-time ride in the V8 Supercar Ch🔴ampionship after WPS Racing announced its withdrawal from the series shortly before the start of the campaign, Jasonᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Bargwanna is to return later in the year after inking a deal to join Rod Nash Racing for the endurance events at Phillip Island and Bathurst.
Bargwanna, who won at Bathurst back in 2000, will line up alongside Tony D'Alberto in the #55 Holden Commodore for the two big events and team boss Rod Nash admitted that signing an experienced second dri🐬ver for the enduros had been high on the wish list.

"Jason is the perfect🐷 fit for our team," he said. "We have a strong team this year with Tony and securing a co-driver like Jason will enhance our chances of suc🦩cess in the biggest races of the year.
"Jason is not only the same height as Tony but he will bring a wealth of experience to the team. Compet﷽ing in his 14th Bathurst 1000 this year, the team could not h💦ave asked for a more experienced and conditioned campaigner.
"We arജe re꧙ally looking forward to working with him this year."
Bargwanna will be back behin🎃d the wheel of a Holden for the first time since he competed for Gary Rogers Motorsport back in 2002, and he admi𝓡tted that it was an easy choice to make when the deal was offered.
"It 𓂃is a sharp operation, great team of people, and excellen༒t equipment," he said. "Top six at Bathurst last year and the right attitude to go even better in 2008.
"It was a very clear and easy choice for me. I am highly motivated to get bac📖k to being a front runner and this could just be t꧅he right combination required."
