Pastor Maldonado has been ܫruled out of the next GP2 Series round of the season at Istanbul after breaking a collarbone in a biking accident during training.

A major blow to a promising season that has marked him out as one of the leading rookies, for the moment Monaco winner Maldonado will be forced to sit out the coming around at Turkey and it remains to be seen 𓄧when he will be able to return.

Although he has avoided surgery, 𒅌at least 20 days will need to be taken to assess when he will be able to race, meaning his participation at Monza and possibly Spa-Fran🅠corchamps is under threat.

"This is a compound fracture" said Dr. Ceccarelli, "It was also analysed by Dr. Vito Maiolino, who ruled out surgery. Pastor's arm was fitted with an elastic bandage to block shoulder but, since this phase is very painful, we'll need at least 20🌱 days to know when he'll be able to get ba🌱ck on-track.
