The covers have come off the BMW 1 Series diesel of Rick Kerry ahead of his debut in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship this🅷 season.

Kerry will become the first person to enter a diesel powered car in t🃏he BTCC when the season kicks off at Brands Hatch, while the 1 Series will also be making its series debut.

"We're very much entering unchartered waters here, so there are a lot of unknowns and we certainly expect a few tears along th𒁃e way," Kerry said, "but it's also a ve𒈔ry exciting project with which to be involved.

"We are all very determined to make this work."

The car, which will run under the AFM Racing banner, is due to make its public debut at the annual BTCC media day next week at Rockingꦬham.
