Edin𒉰burgh Speedway were pleased with the outcome of today's West Lothian Council meeting which granted permission for Speedway at Armadale Stadium for a further five years.

The Council meeting was attended by G𒉰eoff Craythorne and John Ca♋mpbell on behalf of the club, and they were impressed with the support from the councillors.

John Campbell said "We had excellent support from all councillors and local (Armadale) councillors Stuart Borrowman and Duncanꩲ Maclean both spoke strongly in our favour.

"Thanks to the 54 supporters who took the trouble to write in support of the aꦆppli🏅cation. On more than one occasion it was said that there was exceptionally high support for the application."

The planning committee had recom🗹mended the granting of a three-year perꦡiod but the councillors instead awarded five, the same period as the permission which is currently running and expires this month.
