The Italian had been on course to secure more points for the DAMS team but lost control of his car and hit the wall heavily🔯, destroying his car and landing himself in hospital.
Although he escaped with no serious injuries, Monfardini was kept in overni𝓀ght for precaution and it was suggested that he should pull himself out of the runniไng.
