Chaz fights on.

19-year-old Chaz Davies was the only British points scorer in Jerez, after finishing 13th on his 250cc Ticinohosting Campetella Racing Apri🔜lia - but it's been a very frustrating time for Davies with uncertainty about machinery and funding w🐷recking his pre-season testing.

The contin💝ued fallout from those problems means that Chaz is yet to receive the semi-factory ride he was expecting - and will again be on his injured team-mate's machine, which is at least slightly better than the standard bike Davies had been forced to ride, this weekend in Qatar.

The continued fallout from those problems means that Chaz is yet to receive the semi-factory ride he was expecting - and will again be on his injured team-mate's machine, which is at least slightly betteไr than the standard bike Davies had been forced to ride, this weekend in Qatar.

"It's been a very frustrating time but at least I will be on the line in Qatar," said Chaz. "I will once again ride the injured Tara Sekiguchi's fully-kitted Aprilia. Some more time on the bike should help us alಞl. I needed the footrest lengthened and the lap time counter didn't wo☂rk at Jerez but we should sort all this out for this weekend.

"The team is great and with two days of practice we are hoping for a much better result. I like the track and the temperature☂ should be around 30' which will be a lot cooler than the last couple of years," he added.
