Brad Jones Racing-run Team BOC has revealed its 2006 livery for the Australian V8 Supercar Seri🅷es as the squad looks to make str♔ides forward from a poor 2005 season.
The squad unveiled their latest look at title sponsor🐼 BOC's Gas and Gear store in W🦂odonga in Victoria, and it's a very different looking paint scheme from that of last season.

The squad unveiled their latest look at title sponsor BOC's Gas and Gear store in Wodonga in ꩲVictoria, and it's a very different looking paint scheme from that of last season.
Reversing a three year tradition for the squad, both cars have the same livery as opposed to the reverse liveries seen previously. No do🔥ubt acknowledging the facto🌜r or reverse grid races in the forthcoming season, team manager Kim Jones explains the change:
"The livery on the cars is so vitally importan✃t from a spꦜonsorship point of view and last years livery got a bit lost amongst the other 30 cars on the track, so this year we have gone a bit different, a bit more aggressive and we like the end result," says Jones.
"We 🐽think we have a really great looking pair of race cars and from the teams point of view logistically it makes sense to only have the one set of painted panels for bo𝓀th cars."
The paint on the cars is not the only difference for the squad, indeed it's a year 🤡of significant change, with the addition of Stone Brothers Racing engines and former Formula One and Ford Performance Racing designer Jim Russell confirmed at the squad.
"I don't think we have been more excited about the start of a season," says team-owner and driver, Brad Jones. "We have made a number of changes within th𝓀e team and the cars to ensurജe that 2006 is BJR's best season in V8 Supercars.
"As well as bringing in John Russell to the engineering side of the business, we also have the addition of 🔥Stone Brothers Race Engineering engines. We have worked right though the Christmas break developing a range of other improvements, so this year should be a cracker," he said. "The cars look striking and we firmly believe that it won't just be the looks that𒈔 do the talking."
The squad is backed for a second season by BOC, who enjoyed a rather spectacular start to their relationship with the non-champions꧃hip round at Albert Park in 2005, where the squad finished 1-2 after team manager Kim Jones made an inspired - or maybe just lucky - call on tyres.
"The partner🅰ship between BOC and BJR during 2005 far exceeded our expectations," says Bruce Currie from BOC. "Starting off the year with a 1-2 finish at the Australian F1 Grand Prix led to significant increases in brand exposure, renewed interest in the total BOC offer, and positive internal staff engagementꩲ. We are committed to building upon our long-term association with BJR heading into the 2006 season - there are some exciting times ahead.
"Now we just need to break it to BJR that we're expecting a top ten championship resౠult, and at least two podium finishes in 2006," Currie said with a grin𝄹.
