Sheffield include four o🌊f their 1999 Premier League treble winning side in the Sheffield Window Centre Northern Classic at Owlerton this Thursday.

Current Tigers stars Andre Compton and Sean Wilson will be joined by Belle Vue's Simon Stead and Berwick's Scott Smith in the line-up which also includes Elite League
stars Sam Ermolenko and Magnus Karlsson.

Ermolenko, the 1993 world champion, could be making his last appearance at Owlerton as he has dropped a big hint that he may be retiring from league racing. The Californian was a Sheffield rider in 1996 and he is joined by other ex-Tigers Robbie Kessler and James Birkinshaw in the🦹 field.

Sheffield co-boss Neil Machin said: Machin said: "There will be no easy ride in this meeting for any of the boys, they know everyone is capable of beating each other.
"It should be a terrific♊ way to end the season with some fabulous racing and hopefully we will see a big crowd."

A firework spectacu♌lar will take place after the presentations to bring the curtain down on another successful and entertaining year of racing at Owlerton.
