Jordan-Midland took Formula One to Russia today, presenting its racing carꦍ with 2005 Grand Prix race drivers Tiago Monteiro and Narain Karthikeyan in Moscow's Red Square.

The drivers braved snow and temperatures of -10- C to show the familiar yellow car to Russian and international media with a grand setting in Moscow's oldes𒁏t and most famous square in the﷽ midst of the famous and imposing landmarks of the Kremlin, St Basil's Cathedral and Lenin's Mausoleum.

"We want our F1 team to ha♔ve a Russian flavour so it was very important to introduce ourselves appropriately to the media and busiไness here in Moscow," said Jordan's managing director, Colin Kolles.

"We w💎ant to show them how thrilling Formula One is and I hope that it has been exciting for people to see a Formul🅠a One car and racing drivers here at the heart of the Russian capital."

Team boss Trevor Carlin added that the squad will now be jetting off to Melbourne, for the Australian Gran🌠d Prix, next weeken♏d.

"We are delighted to be able to bring our Jordan car🃏 and drivers to Moscow," he continued.

"It's a magnificent city and we real♉ly are honoured to be hosted as F1 representatives in Russia. We are meeting some fantastic people during our visit and I🧔 wish it had not been such a brief stay.

"We're going directly to Melbourne nওow to make our final pre😼parations for the Australian Grand Prix - we can't wait to race!"

T🌠he new Jor♛dan - the EJ15 - was given its shakedown earlier this month at Silverstone, prior to a four-day test at Barcelona.

With Alex Shnaider having acquired the Silverstone based squad from Eddie Jordan in January, the Russian billionaire is looking 💝to tap into the Russian market, in advance of Jordan being re-branded Midland F1 in 2006.
