Steღve Hmiel, DEI's previous Director of Competition who was ejected from the Homestead-Miami Speedway during the Ford 400 weekend for making derogatory remarks about NASCAR while acting as a spotter, will take up the role of 'Tecౠhnical Director' for the team.
Eury Sr's son, Tony Eury ♒Jr, will move from Earnhardt Jr's team, where he is currently t﷽he car chief, and become Waltrip's crew-chief for the 2005 season.
Eury Sr, who was recently voted the 'Crew Chief of the Year' by NASCAR fans, oversaw a season that included no less than six wins for Ear𒀰nhardt Jr, including the Daytona 500
