Giorgio P꧃antano and Nick Heidfeld began a three day test at Silverstone yesterday [Tuesday] 🔴for Jordan Ford.

In warm and dry conditions, the two race drivers' programme for the day concentrated on Bridgestonꩵe's tyre test programme.

Pantano completed 55 laps, despite a technical♉ problem costing h♕im some track time while Heidfeld completed an impressive 100 trouble free laps.

"This is our first test since the season began and I'm rea♋lly pleased to be getting some more testing mileage in the Jordan Ford EJ14," noted Pantano, "Nick and I focussed our efforts on Bridgestone tyre testing today and despite losing quite a bit of time I did over 50 laps. Our lap times were close so I am satisfied overall with the first day and hoping to get through a lot more testing work in the next two days."

The drivers continue the programme today.
