Ferrari president, Luca di Montezemolo has revealed that the Scuderia will target Kimi Raikkonen to replace Michael Schumacher, when the German finally deci🥀des to retire.
Speaking to BBC Sport Online, di Montezemolo said he has꧙ a lot of respect for the McLaren driver, and although he has a five-year contract with Ron Dennis' squad, Ferrari 'must think of the future and make long-term plans.'
"He [Raikkonen] is very young," said di Montezemolo, "but he is the best driver behind Michael Schumacher a🐲nd Rubens Barriﷺchello."

The Ferrari president added that the F✤inn could well be on ✱their shopping list, post-Michael Schumacher.

Schumacher joined Ferrari in 1996, having made his F1 debut with Jordan back in 1992. Since then t🍷he German has broke practically every F1 record in the book, most recently taking his sixth drivers' title, two points ahead of Raikkonen, who took the battle down to the wire in Japan. Raikkonen made his F1 debut with Sauber in 2001.
