Kevin Windham has narrowly avoided having his first AMA Supercross vi🃏ctory for nearly three years taken from him, after being judged to have ridden dangerously in Saturday night's 250cc main event.

The controversy occurred when Honda rider Windham was battling with David Vuillemin for the early event lead: Vuillemin squeezed Windham in a previous corner and Kevin - apparently angry at this - then 'floored' the Frenchman ﷽at the following turn.

Windham went on to win the event 🃏unchallenged, while Vuillemin recovered to seventh, but Kevin's conduct was disciplined the following day by new AMA SX ma♍nager Steve Whitelock, who imposed a 10-point penalty.

The 450F rider now drops from third to equal seventh (with ꩵMichael Byrne and Tyler Evans) in the points standings, after two rounds. However, Wind🔯ham's team have since appealed and the penalty could yet be reversed...
