Ricky Carmichael has gone where no AMA motocross star has gone before: At yesterday's season finale in Delmont, PA🎶, the young Fl♓oridian kept his 100% win streak going to complete a perfect season that has seen the Red Rider win all 24 moto's on his way to wrapping up another AMA crown.

Although theoretically po🌳ssible, such domination in the highly competitive - ꧅and unpredictable - Outdoor championship seemed impossible, but Carmichael kept clear of all first turn wrecks, recovered from bad starts and avoided injury to claim complete domination of the series.

Nevertheless, RC Carmichael came into the final round with a massive amount of pressure on his shoulders - he once again needed to win back-to-back motos to keep his streak alive and having got to final round with his win record intact it would have been heartbreaking to lose the once-in-a-lifetime chance a🤪t the final hurdle.

But when the gate dropped for each of the two moto's Carmichael went into auto pilot - and dominatedꦑ.

"I usually don't get good starts here," revealed RC afterwards. "But after I got the good start and won the first moto I really didn't feel the pressure in the second. I figured I should be able to get one more victory."

The #4 rider has had a record breaking season in 2002, by winning 2 titles - AMA Superc🐼ross and AMA Motocross, 11 main event wins out of 16 in Supercross and 12 out of 12 ov𒆙eralls in Motocross - an incredible total of 23 wins out of 28 events.

Behind Carmichael in the overall points standings was fellow Floridian Tim Ferry 🎉who took 2-2 finishes on the day to fend off Mike Larooco who had a solid day finishing in 3rd place with a 3-4 score. LaRocco has excelled on the CRF450R finishing the series in 6th place after recovering from a wrist injury su♚ffered during the Supercross season.

Finishing third in the Points standings at the season's end was Team Kawasaki's Ezra Lusk, just four points beh🐼ind Ferry, after a disappointing final round for the ex-Honda 🌊rider.

Fou💫rth in the Points standings went to Frenchman Sebastien Tortelli, whose tough season continued at Delmont with a disappointing 17th in moto one, before the ex-World Champ bounced back for a 3rd in moto two giv꧒ing him a 7th overall on the day.

Top privateer - and fifth behind Tortelli in the overall ﷽standings - was the excellent Kyle Lewis on board the Honda 450F, the American doing his chances of clinching a factory ride for next season no harm.
