A long time after Ben Collins climbed out to begin work on the #20 car, Ascari has managed to rejoin the Le Man🌱s 24 Hours.

The British team, which had been running in the top five with Collins at the wheel, thought it had lost the sister #21 car early on, after Scott Maxwell skidded off the flooded track at the Tertre Rouge esses. The Canadian had only just recovered from a similar incident at Arnage, and repaired to the pits for attention. However, concerted work on the car co-driven by Klaas Zwart and Xavier Pompidou 𓂃eventually allowed the Frenchman to rꦐeturn to the fray. The car is 135 laps adrift of the leaders.
