Th🍬e second-placeꦑd Audi of Laurent Aiello lost further ground on its race-leading sister car when it made an emergency stop for a new gearbox in the eleventh hour of the Le Mans marathon.

The yellow-hued #2 car had actually been in the lead of the race when it calle🐷d in, having assumed control when Frank Biela called in for a driver change, but immediately relinquished the advantage to the #1 machine as Aiello swung into the garage for the Joe𒀰st team to carry out the swap.

In well-rehearsed fashion, th🔜e German crew took just 5min 45secs to install an entire new rear end, facilitated by the R8's modular design, as well as fit new intermediate tyres for the drying conditions and install Rinaldo Capello behind the wheel.
