He left as Tech 3's most successful rider - courtesy of six podium finishes and fourth in the championship - and with a factory 𓆉Ducati contract in his pocket for 2013 and 2014.

Often out-qualified by team-mate Cal Crutchlow, Dovizioso consistently turned the tables on race day, o꧃utscoring the Englishman in 13 of the 18 rounds. Dovizioso also had fourt🐎h in the standings - as the top satellite rider - wrapped up before the Valencia finale.
