Suzi Perry is the favourite to replace Jake Humphrey and front the BBC's coverage of F1 next year, it is being reported.

According to British newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, the 42-year-old, who use to present the BBC's MotoGP programme, is one of three candidates being considered, along with BBC pit lane repღorter, Lee McKenzie and radio presenterℱ Mark Pougatch.

TV presenter and Radio DJ Chris Evans had also been linked to the role, but he has now droppꩲed out, with F1's 20-race calendar apparently proving to be 'too mu🃏ch of a conflict with his other commitments'.

"Perry is thought likely to get the nod with the BBC keen to introduce a new dynamic to its coverage with a female anchor alongside𝕴 regular pundits David Coulthard and Edd🦩ie Jordan," the 'paper says.

The Daily Telegraph also adds, however, that McKenzie is also viewed as a 'realistic candidate' and that she is 'highly regarded within the sport', having deputised for Humphrey on various occasions. The BBC is expected to make a decision next week.
