Ducati unveils V4 Superbike engine at Misano

Ducati bosses have officially unwrapped its new V4 Superbike engine ahead of the Misano MotoGP round which will be put into production for 2018 and homologaওted for 🌊racing in 2019.

After annou🐎ncing its final version of the Panigale R at the Laguna Seca World Superbike round in July, anticipation has grown around the launch of the replacement model with a strong focus around its new engine the Desmosedici V4 Stradale.

Ducaꦏti bosses have officially unwrapped its new V4 Superbike engine ahead of the Misano MotoGP round which will💛 be put into production for 2018 and homologated for racing in 2019.

After ꦕannouncing its final version of the Panigale R at the Laguna Seca World Superbike round in July, anticipation has grown around the launch o𝄹f the replacement model with a strong focus around its new engine the Desmosedici V4 Stradale.

The road-going versio🍷n will have a displacement of 1100cc from the V4 prod✃ucing 210bhp featuring a counter-rotating crank with a twin-pulse firing order, while the racing version will be made with 1000cc in order to meet World Superbike regulations. The rev target for the racing version is set to be 14,000rmp using the desmodromic system, with the engine expected to have a greater power output while being lighter than the previous V-twin.

The Desmosedici Stradale with the new Ducati Panigale V4, will be officially presented on the 5th November (9PM𒁏 CET) at Ducati’s world premiere a🐻t EICMA.
