Haas seeks for ‘ground rules’ from Liberty for new F1 era
Former Formula 1 World Champion and Mercedes team chairman, Niki Lauda, is the latest to reveal leaving the sport is a possibility. Last month Ferrari a𒐪nd Mercedes both hinted at possible exits and when asked if he could could imagine quitting, Lauda said: “Yes, logically. My Mercedes contract runs until 2020, which I will fulfil. Then I’ll have a look." -
Jenson Button has stated that his “love for racing is back” after a year away. It was recently revealed that the Button would be involved in Japan’s Super GT next year and the 2009 World Champion said: “This year off from Formula 1 has been the best thing I ꦉpossibly could have done. F1, my time was done there, but for racing itself my love is well and truly back. I’m very excited." -
Sean Bratches, F1’s commercial boss, has claimed that he ༒isn’t surprised by the recent criticism of the new logo, saying: “I didn’t think we would sneak away unscathed.” With both fans and drivers voicing their opinions on the new design, Bratches said “From my eye, it seemed to be dated, it seemed to not reflect where the sport could go." -
Marcus Ericsson has revealed he had "a few nervous weeks” before re-signing with Sauber for next season. The Swedish driver said: “I had🃏 a few nervous weeks but of course it’s nice that everything is ready now, especially with Alfa Romeo as a major sponsor and partner." -
