Billy Monger honoured at FIA Prize Giving with President's Award
Billy Monger was honoured at the FIA Prize Giving gala in Paris on Friday night, receiving the President's Award from Jean To𝐆dt eight months after losing his lower legs in a Formula 4 crash.
Monger, 18, had the lower part of both legs amputated after sustaining severe injuries in an F4 crash at Donington Park back in April, with his sto🧔ry and recovery capturing the attꦕention of the motorsport world.

Monger has already set his sights on a return to racing in the future, havi🌠ng tested a hand-controlled car in July, and appeared🍌 as a guest at the FIA's final gala of the year in Paris.
Taking t♒o the stage using crutches and his prosthetic lower legs, Monger was given a standing ovation by the audience🌄 as he accepted the President's Award from Todt.
The President's Award is given to those who have "displayed courage, determination and🍒 sportsmanship but to al꧂so include those that have contributed greatly to the broader FIA community".
